2007 Hari Raya is marked as the first Hari Raya celebrated by SMART. Even though it is a holiday and most people were to travel back to their hometown to celebrate with their families, some of the staff was to be on duty during the holidays to ensure the smooth operation of the tunnel.

The motorway control room, and the Ronda team were operating at full capacity as well as the maintenance dept. To some, it is their first experience being away from their families during the holidays.

But the spirit of Hari Raya is not forgotten at SMART. The main building was beautifully decorated with decoration lightings, ketupat and Raya cards decorations adorning the main lobby.

In the spirit and tradition of Hari Raya, En Mohd Fuad, GM of Operations, distributed “duit raya” to all staff members.

On the first day of Hari Raya, the Toll Plaza hosted a Hari Raya makan-makan for the toll plaza operators as well as all SMART personnel on duty on the day.
