SMART recently conducted a first aid course for its operational as well as its office staff. The purpose for this course is as a refresher course for its SMART Ronda Team members and to those who want to learn about First Aid.

Jabatan Bomba Sentul Emergency Medical Services (EMS) officers facilitated the program. The 4 officers conducted briefing on the do’s and the don’ts when rendering medical aids. The 43 participants were taught how to check a victim, how to move them, to apply bandages and the proper way to administer CPR.

It is with hope that with this program and the follow-ups, the SMART Ronda teams are well prepared to render basic medical assistance during any incidents.
