BOMBA TUDM from Pangkalan Udara Kuala Lumpur made a work visit to SMART on 10 March 2011. There were 26 staff from various positions and levels, headed by Captain Norazman Rusli, who were keen to know more details about the safety features seen in the Smart Tunnel. The objective of the visit was to give exposure to the staff on the complexity of operating SMART Tunnel and also to gain understanding of the safety operations. The group was briefed on the SMART Concept and Operations & provided a Q&A session by Encik Mohd Radzi Osman, Safety Officer, Traffic Safety Department, and Cik Elly Zakaria from Toll Operations & Public Relations Department.
