The 18th Malaysia Property Award presentation was successfully held on 11 November 2010 at Shangri La Hotel Kuala Lumpur, attended by 1,200 local industry leaders and foreign guests from various countries including Australia, Indonesia, Hong Kong China, Japan, Korea, Macau China, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, and USA. FIABCI International representatives include Ms. Judy Shenefield, representative for World President, Ms. Lisa Kurrass, World President 2009/2010, and Mr. John Greig, World President 2004/2005. Their Majesties, the King and Queen of Malaysia, were the Royal Guest-of-Honor for this Malaysia Property Oscar event. SMART Tunnel won the Special Award for National Contribution defeating other nominees for the category. The winning project will represent Malaysia to compete in the international award competition FIABCI Prix d’ Excellence award, which will be held in Cyprus in May 2011. Sixty countries will take part in the competition.
