The finalists of the 2010 National Science Challenge were given an opportunity for a formal visit to SMART. There were a total of 4 teams comprised of 3 members in each team which battled it out in the Science arena, trying to outdo each others’ scientific wit and knowledge to emerge as the top team for this year’s National Science Challenge 2010. Each group was headed by their school teacher. Most of the students were highly impressed with SMART’s project. The objective of the visit was to understand and gain knowledge of how the SMART system works and how data about water flow is collected and managed. SMART General Manager, Mohd Fuad Kamal Ariffin, and Head of Toll Operations & PR Department, Encik Mohd Noor Mohd Ali, welcomed the group during the two hour visit.
