Students from Department of Bioinfomatics, Science Faculty of Universiti Malaya made a formal visit to SMART on 14 October 2010. There were 20 of them and the group was headed by Mr. Oh Ji Heng, Tutor at Universiti Malaya. The students were very highly impressed with SMART’s project. The objective of the visit was to understand and gain knowledge of how the SMART system works and how data about water flow is collected and managed. The group was on a field trip as students of Bioinformatic where they were required to fulfill the requirement for the course “Instrumentation and Ecological Informatics”. Head of Toll Operations & PR Department, Encik Mohd Noor Mohd Ali, answered questions raised by the group during the two hour visit.
