The SMART Motorway Control Center received a visit from TEHRAN Municipal Authority. There were 10 of them including the Deputy Mayor of TEHRAN, Dr. Maziar Hosseini, and Director/Manager of TEHRAN Municipality’s Engineering & Civil Work’s Organization, with the objective of knowing more about design, construction and maintenance of the SMART Tunnel since TEHRAN has a similar project that is currently on-going. They also hope that the visit will benefit both parties with an exchange of tunnel experience between TEHRAN and the SMART team. The group was fascinated by the system used for operations and maintenance of the SMART tunnel. Head of Toll Operations & PR Department, Encik Mohd Noor Mohd Ali, conducted the Q&A session.
