SMART received a visit from a Kenyan delegation on 15 July 2010. They were on their working visit together with the Kenyan Minister of Planning and National Development from 11-14 July 2010. Aside from the official engagements with Ministers, the delegation has interest in learning about the SMART Tunnel project. They earlier visited Multimedia Development Corporation, Putrajaya Corporation and Iskandar Malaysia. The delegates spent almost 2 hours at SMART watching the video presentation on SMART concepts & operations and also posing questions during the Q&A session. Officers from Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Wisma Putra, Africa-South Sahara Division, Mr. Amarjit Singh Sarjit Singh, Principal Assistant Secretary and Ms. Chang Pak Moi, Assistant Secretary, also attended during the visit.
