A group of 5 personnel from Rangkaian Pengangkutan Integrasi Deras Sdn Bhd (RapidKL) visited SMART on 13 July 2010 at 10.00am. RapidKL is a wholly owned subsidiary of Syarikat Prasarana Negara Berhad which operates and maintains the LRT System. Though RapidKL is not a highway company like SMART, they have taken the initiative to visit SMART Tunnel with the objective of sharing ideas on tunnel operation. The team headed by Encik Muhamad Fadzli Omar, RapidKL Senior Assessor, spent almost 2 hours at SMART watching the video presentation on SMART concepts & operations and also discussing the Emergency Response Plan adopted by both companies. They were also taken into the Traffic Monitoring Centre to have a closer look into the SCADA system used by SMART for traffic monitoring. The visit ended with a group photo taken together with the SMART management team.
