SMART General Manager Encik Mohd Fuad Kamal Ariffin welcomed the Vice Chancellor and management staff from Universiti Teknologi Melaka when they made a formal visit to SMART Tunnel on 7 June 2010. The arrangements were made by YBhg. Datuk Ir. (Dr.) Haji Ahmad Zaidee Laidin, SMART Director, with the objective of giving them a clearer picture of the SMART Tunnel concept and operations. Universiti Teknologi Melaka, popularly known as UTEM, was lead by UTEM’s Vice Chancellor, YBhg. Prof. Datuk Dr. Ahmad Yusof bin Hassan, spending almost 2 hours at SMART watching the video presentation on SMART concepts & operations and also posing questions during the Q&A session. The visit ended with a group photo taken together with the SMART management team.
