In conjunction with the 3rd anniversary of SMART Tunnel Highway operation, SMART organized an Open Day. The event was held on 14 May 2010 at Kompleks Operasi & Penyelenggaraan Lebuhraya SMART, Jalan Davis Off Bulatan Kg. Pandan from 10.00am-5.00pm. SMART Open Day was organized exclusively for the public. Part of the program for the event was a SMART video presentation, Q&A, quizzes and exhibition (Medical Response Vehicle, First Responder Vehicle & 2F’s). Besides that, a career booth was also set up for those who are interested in building a career with SMART Tunnel, especially in the area of highway operations. During the event, the public was able to get various information on the SMART Tunnel Highway which has become the pride of our nation since it is the one and only dual-function tunnel in the world. Objective of the event is basically to create awareness and to educate the public on the existence of the SMART Tunnel. SMART also wanted the public to be clear on SMART objectives and functions. Not to be forgotten, special thanks go to Traffic Police Kuala Lumpur, IKM Kg. Pandan, PLUS, Grand Saga, JPS, Hospital Kuala Lumpur and BOMBA Cawangan Pudu who came and gave support to our event.
