On May 13, SMART received a visit from Sang Kancil Study Tour 2010, University of Twente, The Netherlands. The study tour programme consists of educational visits to institutes, universities and companies including SMART Tunnel. SMART was chosen because it is known to be an outstanding and innovative project to the students. They are keen to learn about the tunnel’s concepts and are focused to study it from the perspective of Applied Physics. The visiting group consisted of 19 students lead by 2 professors namely Dr. Ir. Herbert Wornmeester who is Associate Professor of Solid State Physics and Dr. Ir. Hans Hilgenkamp, Professor of Condensed Matter Physics & Devices of University Twente. The group was briefed on SMART Operations by Encik Mohd Noor Mohd Ali, Toll Operations & PR Manager. Again SMART impressed the group with its innovative concepts and ideas.
