A group of government officers headed by JPJ Director General Dato’ Haji Solah Mat Hassan and also JKJR Director General, Datuk Suret Singh made a formal visit to SMART on 3 February 2010. There were a total of 30 officers including directors from JPJ, JKJR, MIROS and also a representative from the Ministry of Transport. Objective of the visit is to know more about the SMART Tunnel and to exchange ideas on improving the road and transportation system in Malaysia. SMART General Manager Encik Mohd Fuad Kamal Ariffin and Deputy Director of JPS, Tuan Ir. Haji Abdullah Isnin gave a presentation on SMART during the visit. Also attending were JPS Director of Wilayah Persekutuan Tuan Haji Mat Rahim Ismail-, Deputy Director General JPJ Encik Salim Parlan, Dr. Jamilah Mohd Marjan from MIROS, Encik Nik Yusaimi Yussof from JKJR and Encik Mathias from Ministry of Transport.
