KHAWATER (in English means toughts) is a name of an Egyptian TV documentary which aired in most Arab countries and it is the number one TV program during the last 5 years in the Middle East. The main objective of the program is to cover on methods applied for better societies and better people through modern models and creative solutions that can serve our communities. SMART was chosen by the producer in order to show the success stories of SMART in alleviating the flooding problem previously faced by Kuala Lumpur. A team of more than 6 crews, 2 directors and 1 host came all the way to Kuala Lumpur to make the shooting on SMART. Several locations were chosen by them and they spent almost half a day to complete the shooting. They were fascinated with the whole concept and details of building the tunnel to overcome the flooding issue. The episode on SMART Tunnel is planned to be aired during the holy month of Ramadan this year on 3 different leading channels in the Middle East.
