The SMART team arranged for a return visit to KL StarRail Sdn Bhd also well known as KL Monorail on 10 December 2009. Upon reaching KL StarRail’s office, SMART personnel were greeted and welcomed by Encik Ahmad Jamaluddin Salleh, Head Maintenance & Engineering, and his team. We were brought to their meeting room for a slide presentation and later given a tour of their train depot and monorail office including a free ride of monorail from the Brickfield station to the Raja Chulan station for lunch, compliments of KL StarRail. Most of the SMART personnel found the tour doubly interesting, since it was also their first monorail ride. The objective of the visit was to exchange ideas and gain knowledge of the ERP, control centre and also services provided. It is also to foster good relationship between the two organizations. SMART would like to express gratitude to KL StarRail team for their warm hospitality during the half day visit.
