A group of 9 representatives from KL StarRail Sdn Bhd visited SMART on 2 December 2009. They were headed by Encik Abdul Hadi Amran, acting Chief Operating Officer, KL StarRail Sdn Bhd with a hope that the working visit could bring more input on day-to-day operations and maintenance for both organizations. The group consisted of several Heads and Managers of departments involved in operations and maintenance of the Control Centre. The group was being briefed on the SMART Concept and Operations by Mr. Mok Wan Seng, Senior Manager M&E and Encik Mohd Noor Mohd Ali, Toll Operations & PR Manager. Thereafter, a dialogue session was conducted between SMART Management and KL StarRail Sdn Bhd representatives. Also attending the session was Encik Mohd Fuad Kamal Ariffin, General Manager, SMART. KL StarRail Sdn Bhd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Syarikat Prasarana Negara Berhad which operates and maintains the KL Monorail system.
