BBC Radio News via their Malaysia correspondent has conducted a radio interview with SMART General Manager, Encik Mohd Fuad Kamal Ariffin. The exclusive interview has taken place at SMART Motorway Control Centre on 2 December 2009. BBC Radio News correspondent, Ms. Jennifer Pak came to SMART MCC having been told by radio listener in UK about SMART concept and subsequent success in tackling flooding problems in Kuala Lumpur city centre. She had been asked to refer to SMART and probe details concerning the SMART Tunnel. We hope with the one hour interview, SMART managed to provide information needed by the BBC Radio News listener and also added international recognition to SMART and Malaysia as a whole.
