SMART has participated in the preparation of Teknik Directory 2009. Teknik Directory is a handbook for nation building decision makers. It is aimed at bridging communication gaps between the public, consultants and contractors. The Directory will help to integrate players within the industry, profile their expertise and deliver solutions that are relevant to the construction community. The launching ceremony was officiated by YB Dato’ Yong Khoon Seng, Deputy Minister, Ministry of Works, and was held at Dewan Tan Sri Mahfoz Khalid, Jalan Sultan Salahuddin, Kuala Lumpur. In moving towards a transparent government, a one stop information centre like Teknik Directory will help to facilitate information and decision making thus reducing red tape and bureaucracy. Teknik Directory will serve as an important hub of information that will continue to raise the standards of quality and enhance the integrity of our service providers.
