For the first time, SMART received a visit from secondary school students. A group of 33 students, 2 teachers and 1 school staff visited SMART on 5 November at 9.00 am. The students were shown a video presentation on the concept of the SMART project and operation and later continued with a slide presentation by Encik Mohd Fuad Kamal Ariffin, General Manager of SMART. A quiz session followed the presentation and students were quite excited in answering questions posed by Encik Mohd Noor Mohd Ali, Toll Operations & PR Manager. From the answers given, it can be concluded that most of the students had met their objectivesin understanding SMART maintenance and operations. The group spent almost 2 hours at MCC before proceeding to NJB on their half day visit to the SMART Tunnel.
