SMART received a VIP guest. His Excellency Dr. Nguyen The Thao, Chairman of the People’s Committee of HANOI; Mr. Ha Van Que, Director of the Foreign Affairs Department; Mr. Nguyen Van Thinh, Deputy Chief of Office; Mr. Nguyen Khao Tho, Deputy Director of Construction Department; Mr. Bui Xuan Tung, Deputy Director of Institute of Planning and Construction; and a few of his officers arrived at 10.00 am on 4 November at MCC. YBhg. Dato’ Lin Yun Ling, Managing Director of Gamuda was pleased to receive His Excellency Dr. Nguyen The Thao and his delegates upon their arrival at SMART. They were later brought to the auditorium for a video presentation on SMART construction, maintenance and operations. The delegates were shown a Vietnamese version of a video presentation and later were brought for a tour and gathered for Q&A session. His Excellency Dr. Nguyen The Thao seemed interested by the SMART Tunnel project and asked further questions on the project and concept. YBhg. Dato’ Lin Yun Ling answered questions posed by the delegates.
