SMART on 5 October has officially handed the key for the Medical Response Vehicle (MRV) to Hospital Kuala Lumpur. The MRV was handed over by SMART Director, YBhg. Datuk Ir. (Dr.) Hj. Ahmad Zaidee Laidin to the Head of Emergency Department of Hospital Kuala Lumpur, YBhg. Prof. Dato’ Dr. Abu Hassan Asaari Abdullah in a remarkable ceremony at SMART Motorway Control Centre, Jalan Davis Off Bulatan Kg. Pandan, Kuala Lumpur. The MRV is specially designed to access SMART Highway and is equipped to perform emergency rescue on the SMART dual purpose tunnel. During the ceremony, all attending guests and media representatives were shown the MRV Static and Dynamic Demonstration by staff from Hospital Kuala Lumpur. The MRV is customized to meet the sophisticated design of the SMART Tunnel such as height limitation, tunnel maneuverability and its other special features. The MRV was manufactured in accordance with the specific requirements of Emergency Department, Hospital Kuala Lumpur.
