The Malaysian Culture Group visited the SMART Motorway Control Center recently as part of their monthly activities. The visit was postponed on a number of occasions due to some unforeseen circumstances. But the determination of the organizing committee wanting to visit and understand the operation of the SMART Tunnel paid off with the visit on 3 December.
The group was briefed by Wan Azhar (PR Manager) on the operation of the tunnel. The group also was given the rare opportunity to view the operation of the Control Room as well as an overview of the equipment used in the management of the motorway tunnel. Most were impress and understand better on the complexity in managing the world first dual purpose tunnel.
It is with hope, with the new understanding of the working of the SMART Tunnel, the group would be able to share this new knowledge with their friends.
