Syarikat Mengurus Air Banjir & Terowong Sdn Bhd (SMART) today hosted their Hari Raya open house at the Kompleks Operasi & Penyelenggaraan Lebuhraya SMART in Jalan Davis, off Bulatan kg Pandan. This is their second Open House event since the motorway tunnel was opened in May 2007.
SMART also played guest to children from Pusat Perlindungan PERNIM, Cheras. The children, accompanied by the founder Puan Hajjah Norlina Hj Alawi was feted with the various foods prepared for this year event. These include Ikan Bakar Jalan Bellamy, Sotong Bakar, Char Kuew Teow and the children’s favourite Ais Batu Campur (ABC). The traditional ketupat, lemang and rendang were also served to the guest.
En Mohd Fuad bin Kamal Ariffin, General Manager (operation) of SMART together with Encik Mohd Nor Kamal Md Isa, Timbalan Ketua Pengarah Lembaga Lebuhraya Malaysia was at hand to give away the Duit Raya to the children of Pusat Perlindungan PERKIM. He also presented this year’s SMART Hari Raya contribution to the center. The cheque was received by Puan Hajjah Norlina on behalf of the Center.
The Open House is a way for SMART to celebrate and share the joy of Hari Raya together with all friends, government agencies and business associates.
