The minister of Natural Resources & Environment, YB Datuk Douglas Uggah Embas made his second working visit to SMART on 19 June 08. Senior officers accompanied the minister from Department of Irrigation & Drainage Malaysia.

During this visit, the minister was taken to the North Junction Box’s Gate House and was briefed in detail the mechanics of the flood system. Mr Mok Wan Seng, Head of Maintenance & Engineering, conducted the briefing.
