Technical Manager
The Job
This person areas of responsibility required equipment operations and its maintenance
Responsibilities
- To head the efficient operations, maintenance and improvement of the Engineering, Maintenance & IT / System department
- To manage a safe environment for the tunnel users and maintaining such components in good working order inside and outside of the tunnel
- To oversee the maintenance of road tunnel
- To plan, develop prepare, review, co-ordinate and monitor maintenance schedule to ensure compliance to operation and maintenance manual standards
- To establish a consistent standard of deployment and supervision of the maintenance works
- To review and analyze of operation report, budgeting, risk management and maintenance planning
- To liase and attend meeting with respective local authorities and monitoring of any contractors / vendors in coordinating the maintenance works schedule
- Ensure efficient cost and financial control for all maintenance department works and for the upkeep of Tunnel, including monitoring of cost effectiveness of the works
- Manage staff performance, promoting internal and external communications and staff trainings and plan for career development
Requirements
- Candidate must posses a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent
- Minimum 10-15 years and above working experience of similar capacity
- Familiar with tunnel M&E operation
- Business acumen and understanding the full spectrum of maintenance works
- Possess high integrity and excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to cope with pressure
- Ability to delegate tasks in an authoritative manner
